Internship Program

The Science Internship Program integrates undergraduate university studies and relevant work experiences through 4, 8, 12 or 16-month paid internships.

Once students have completed *24 credit in their program, they can work for anywhere from 8 to 16 months. After finishing the SIP placement, students return to the University to finish their programs. For students who have 8 months SIP or more, they can register in INT D 400/401 course(s) in order for the SIP designation to show up on their parchment.

If you have questions about the SIP in the Department of Physics, please email science.internship@ualberta.ca.
