9.7 Protocol on Urgent Cases of Disruptive, Threatening or Violent Conduct

This protocol provides a guide for dealing with conduct which is, or has the potential to be, disruptive, threatening or violent, that is to say, conduct which goes beyond the discussion of controversial ideas. The protocol calls for convening a case conference where the team will include administrators responsible for the Faculty or unit of the individual whose behaviour is of concern and members who possess the required skills given the specific situation.

This protocol is found in the GFC Policy Manual, section 91. See also UAPPOL's Individuals at Risk policy.
