What is your role at the Glen Sather Clinic?

Concussion physical therapy assessments and treatments, assisting in the resolution of concussion and safe return to activity.

I work with both acute (recent) injury and in the multidisciplinary Chronic Concussion Clinic.

Do you hold any positions outside of the clinic?

Yes! I work full time for Isaac Physiotherapy currently located in Peak Medical Specialty Clinics - Allendale.

What is your main area of practice?

I have worked with a variety of sports and activity-related injuries and conditions throughout my career. My passion and special interest since becoming a physical therapist in 2007 has been concussion injuries.

What did you study and where?

I have earned two degrees, both from the University of Alberta.

Do you work specific days/hours?

Wednesdays, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Are you affiliated with any teams?

I have been affiliated with many minor and adult sports teams over the years including hockey, soccer, gymnastics, curling and rugby. I have had the privilege of working at and with the following events: 2016 Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling - Champions Cup, 2012 Hockey Alberta U18 Female Team, 2013 Tim Horton's Brier, and 2006 New Zealand Black Ferns Rugby Club at the Women's Rugby World Cup. My most recent teams include the Strathcona County MAA Warriors Hockey and the Sherwood Park Wolverines Bantam Football Club.

What is your favourite way to stay active?

I enjoy being active with my family doing just about anything. Seasonally, I spend time snowboarding and golfing.
