The University of Alberta has partnered with Coursera to develop highly-engaging and rigorous versions of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) to the general public as well as for-credit for UAlberta students and potentially for other students in other institutions.

Dino 101: Dinosaur Paleobiology is a 12-lesson course teaching a comprehensive overview of non-avian dinosaurs.

This course will explore everything from origins to extinction. Students can expect to engage with the scientific method through learning about the world of dinosaurs.
