Camps and Outreach Programs at UAlberta
Most UAlberta camps take place in Edmonton. Check out each program for more information on summer camps as well as other programming they do throughout the year in Edmonton, around the province and throughout western Canada and the far north.
Canada's only national leadership retreat for sexual and gender minority youth. Both Edmonton and Calgary options are available, as well as Regina, Sask. A variety of arts-based leadership workshops take place during these four days, along with field trips, a talent showcase and group/free time. The camp spans four days where camper participants and youth leaders stay on-site in dormitory style rooms with healthy meals provided.

Aug. 13-16: Saskatoon, Sask.
Catch frogs, hike trails, tour greenhouses and rediscover the natural world just outside Edmonton in Devon at the beautiful Devonian Botanic Gardens. All camps include environmental learning, games, crafts and loads of fun.
If children are exposed to engineering and science at an early age, they are more likely to pursue further studies in these fields. Participants of all ages complete exciting projects and challenges across engineering, science, technology and math. Remote and Rural Camps
Building confidence and a love of learning through inquiry and exposure to a world of ideas. Through a series of week-long summer day camps we have our campers reaching across the boundaries of math, science, language, drama, art, music, ecology and philosophythrough experiments, games, adventures, presentations and camper-led discussions.
Send your child to learn about computers or examine real dinosaur fossils. Learn about space with real space scientists or visit world class Faculty of Science museums and collections. Our camps and give students of all ages the opportunity to share our excitement about exploring science in new and inventive ways.
The Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation is pleased to offer a wide range of Green & Gold Summer Camps. These camps are part of a comprehensive Athlete Pathway that makes it possible for our participants to explore, engage, and ultimately excel in sport. All aspects of our Athlete Pathway, including our Summer Camps, have been designed to align with the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) framework, which has become the official model for athlete development in Canada.

Basketball, volleyball and multi-sport camps in Camrose, featuring Augustana Vikings coaches and athletes. This year features boys and girls camps for junior and senior high school in July and August. Registration begins in April.
