Most UAlberta camps take place in Edmonton. Check out each program for more information on summer camps as well as other programming they do throughout the year in Edmonton, around the province and throughout western Canada and the far north. 


Camp fYrefly

Canada's only national leadership retreat for sexual and gender minority youth Both Edmonton and Calgary options available, as well as Regina, Sask. A variety of arts-based leadership workshops take place during these four days, along with field trips, a talent showcase and group/free time. The camp spans four days where camper participants and youth leaders stay on-site in dormitory style rooms with healthy meals provided.

Devonian Botanic Gardens

Catch frogs, hike trails, tour greenhouses and rediscover the natural world just outside Edmonton in Devon at the beautiful Devonian Botanic Gardens. All camps include environmental learning, games, crafts and loads of fun.

Building confidence and a love of learning through inquiry and exposure to a world of ideas. Through a series of week-long summer day camps we have our campers reaching across the boundaries of math, science, language, drama, art, music, ecology and philosophythrough experiments, games, adventures, presentations and camper-led discussions.

Send your child to learn about computers or design a website. Include space camps for a fun five-day mission with real space scientists from UAlberta. Our camps and workshops give students of all ages the opportunity to share ourexcitement about exploring space and computing science in new and inventiveways.

Sport and Activity Camps

Choose from a range of exciting camps taught by high-calibre coaches in a friendly environment right in Edmonton on the UAlberta campus. From team sports like hockey, volleyball, soccer and basketball camps to individual activities such as swimming, tennis, track and field. Day camps also include activities to increase strength, speed and agility for young and old.

Green and Gold Soccer Academy

Bringing the outstanding skills of Golden Bears and Pandas coaches and players to young soccer players in and around Edmonton by helping facilitate player development and to identify and promote talented players to play at the higher levels whether that's club, provincial select team, national, university or even professional. Young players learn the fundamental techniques and skills they'll need to be creative with the ball, skilful in executing game strategy and efficient in their movements on the field.

Vikings Athletics

Basketball, volleyball and multi-sport camps in Camrose, featuring Augustana Vikings coaches and athletes. This year features boys and girls camps for junior and senior high school in July and August. Registration begins in April.
