Conveniently located in the Students' Union Building, our Pharmacy team is ready to assist you with a wide-range of prescription and over-the-counter medications and sound health advice. We are a full service pharmacy dedicated to serving all students and staff at the University of Alberta.

- Fill prescriptions from any physician licensed in Canada
- Pharmacist counselling on prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
- Processing of prescriptions through most insurance plans (including the U of A undergraduate and graduate health plans)
Your Visit to the Pharmacy
Please present your ONEcard when leaving prescriptions to be filled and when picking them up.
*Please note that the University Health Centre Pharmacy is required to provide, at the request of a patient, the name and practice permit number of any regulated member who provides a pharmacy service to the patient or who engages in the practice of pharmacy with respect to a patient.

The Pharmacy offers free flu immunizations for U of A students, staff and faculty with an Alberta Health Card. Immunizations are available by walk-in basis (depending on availability of staff). Family members of students, staff & faculty age 9 and up are also eligible to receive their immunization at the Pharmacy (drop-in only).
All walk-in immunizations will be based on staff availability. We recommend calling ahead of time to ensure that we can provide you with an immunization when you arrive.
