June 22, 2015 Preliminary packages due in PDF Office.  Late applications not accepted directly from researcher.

Applicants notified by Faculty point person and provided feedback for improving the application.

Sept 8, 2015 Final draft of Institutional synergy letter submitted to VP(R) Office.
Sept 23, 2015 Full proposals submitted by the nominees to the Banting Secretariat via ResearchNet.

Faculty of Science Conference Fund
The Conference Fund supports international, national, and provincial conferences and symposia hosted, organized and/or coordinated by members of the Faculty of Science that contribute to scholarship.  Grants are awarded to academic staff or students and funding will be prioritized according to the stature of the conference. The funding for the Conference Fund comes from the office of the Vice-President (Research) and is administered by the Associate Dean (Research), Faculty of Science.

Faculty of Science Visiting Scholar Program

The Faculty of Science Visiting Scholar Program provides opportunities for established researchers from other universities or research institutes to conduct short-term research with research groups or centres in the Faculty of Science.

Field: To recognize those Faculty members who are extraordinary in mentoring the next generation of young scientists, professionals, and scholars in our Faculty.
