I work at the Glen Sather Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic as a Sport and Exercise Medicine physician. As the Glen Sather Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic is a medical teaching clinic for medical students and medical residents, I hold the position of Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta.

I received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University in 2003 and a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Alberta in 2007. I completed the Family Medicine Residency Program at the University of Alberta (2007-2009) and received my Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) in 2009. I completed the Family Medicine Enhanced Skills Program in Sports Medicine at the Glen Sather Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic from 2009-2010. I received my Canadian Academy of Sport and Exercise Medicine Diploma in 2010.

My clinical specialty is Family Medicine and Sport and Exercise Medicine. I usually work Tuesday afternoons as well as Thursday mornings and afternoons at the Glen Sather Sport and Exercise Medicine Clinic. I generally enjoy doing anything active, especially outdoor sports and activities.
